The Annual Long Beach Razor Clam Festival will be Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd. The festival features 12 local restaurants competing taste-off for the best clam chowder, an amateur chowder competition, clam digging lessons, clam cleaning demonstrations, clam cooking classes, clam contests, local artisans and various food vendors. Admission is FREE but the chowder taste-off does cost $15 per person. Clam digging lessons and clam cleaning demo’s are tentative depending on current test results from the WDFW.

The Clam Chowder Taste-Off features 12 local restaurants who will be serving their best recipes. Your mobile pass will include twelve 2-oz. samples located at each restaurant, one drink (pickup at Veteran’s Field), LBRCF exclusive coupon, enter to win survey and voting ballot. The winner will receive a custom wood carved clam trophy and bragging rights.
